Brattleboro Medicinal Herb Day 2016 has been cancelled due to last minute issues with the venue. We fully intend to hold the event again in 2017. Information will be announced next winter. Join the Old Ways Herbal mailing list or check back for updates.
Herb Day is a grassroots international celebration of herbs and herbal products, featuring events aimed at educating and sharing ideas about the many ways herbs bring joy and well-being into our daily lives (from the HerbDay Organization).
Where, When, How Much? Brattleboro’s Herb Day event will be held on May 2nd, 2015, from 9:30 to 3:30. The location is the beautiful Solar Hill, 229 Western Ave. Admission is by donation. This is the first annual Herb Day event in Brattleboro and we hope you will join us and make it a success!
Details: The event features beginner and intermediate workshops and plant walks presented by many local herbalists. Children will have a ball in our Kid’s Program, which features fun herbal crafts all day.
Shop the Herbal Marketplace, which features products made by local herbalists, community health practitioners, and local businesses. Lucia Marie will be reading Tarot. Lunch and healthy snacks will be available thanks to Eden Love.
