IN-PERSON INTENSIVES
Bark Harvest
Intensive
Join me to wildcraft! We will learn to identify and harvest a selection of the following trees: willow, prickly ash, witch hazel, birch, and/or cherry, based on seasonal availability. Wildcrafting methods and ethics will be discussed, as well as bark processing techniques and medicinal uses for your family’s health. Participants take home plenty of processed bark.

Japanese Knotweed
Harvest Intensive
Join me to wildcraft! We will learn to identify and harvest Japanese Knotweed. Medicinal uses, preparation techniques, culinary use, and wildcrafting ethics will be discussed. Participants take home plenty of processed roots.
Sign up period for this class closes 1 week prior to class. Please note: class happens rain or shine, but if it is raining we are only outside for the harvesting portion.

This class offers an in-depth look at making great herbal tinctures. We focus on important concepts such as solubility and energetics to make reliably effective tinctures at home. Principles of formulation are also be discussed.
